Aptamil Pepti Junior is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision in infants with malabsorption related conditions. Aptamil Pepti Junior is an extensively hydrolysed whey-based formula, containing 50% of the fat as medium chain triglycerides (MCT) and glucose syrup to promote digestion and absorption. It has a low osmolality (210 mOsmol/kg H2O) and is suitable as a sole source of nutrition for infants and as a principal source of nourishment, with other foods, for infants and children over seis months of age. Aptamil Pepti Junior contains long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LCPs) and nucleotides to help meet the requirements of infants with malabsorption related conditions.
